Project Description
The BeEmpire Inc. is the social enterprise behind the brand Apicuria Natural Oral Spray. It all started when the founders stumbled on a bee farm during a trip to Bukidnon. After taking up apprenticeship with the Bukidnon beekeeper for 3 months, the founders headed back to Manila to start their own apiary. With the goal of helping low income communities through beekeeping, they partnered with GK and established their business at the GK Enchanted Farm in Angat, Bulacan.
The BeEmpire Inc. advocates beekeeping as a sustainable livelihood that can allow income generation through products made by bees like honey, royal jelly, wax and propolis. They aspire to build a community of beekeepers and create a value chain that produces a line of high quality bee products. Apicuria Oral Spray is a special blend of natural, organic, Harlika Pure Honey, propolis, licorice root, marshmallow extract, petilla seed, mentha arvensis, calamansi and natural herbs. It provides relief of mouth irritations, cough, sore and itchy throat, and halitosis.
