Hey, everyone! I’m really excited to share with you this really cool and newly opened lifestyle store my wife and I recently discovered in Makati.

The place is called CURATE.

Curate is unlike any other lifestyle store you’ve seen or been to before. That’s because, just as their store name suggests, the products that are showcased and offered inside the establishment are all curated; carefully selected items that are guaranteed to be only of great value and quality.

Not only that! At Curate, I happily learned that the products sold there are all-natural, eco-friendly, beautifully handcrafted and unique. They’ve got over 50 brands inside the shop ranging from bags, crafts, an assortment of accessories, shoes, home items, clothing, wellness and skincare products, as well as interesting novelty items. Curate also serves as the sole physical store of a variety of limited edition food items and products.

Best of all, for folks who are mindful of the environment and our planet (which should be ALL OF US), many of the items sold at Curate are organic, sustainable, and zero-waste.

Basically, what I’m saying is that Curate has a little bit of everything for everyone.

Curate is located right inside the newest mall in Makati — Assembly Grounds. It’s a great place to visit because of its accessibility (very near Buendia and Ayala Ave) and ample parking. Plus, the store itself is uncluttered and comfortable to go around which makes for a very great shopping experience for anyone who visits.

I’m sure you’re curious to know what kind of items are sold at Curate. Well, here are some of the products that my wife and I have on hand right now which we are very excited to try out…

Down to Earth – Single Origin Floral Hibiscus tea “Labog” Rosella.

It has bright scarlet calyx known for its amazing capacity to maintain healthy blood pressure containing 15-30% organic acids such as citric acid, malic acid and tartaric acid, vitamin C, minerals and acid polysaccharides. Also has great support for weight loss, inhibiting amylase production thus preventing the absorption of carbohydrates and starch. Moreover, it has amazing benefits for your digestive and immune system.

Apricity Coffee – 100% natural pure ground brewed coffee-on-the-go. Just add water.

There’s no denying that the shopping experience has truly transformed over time. However, I still believe that the in-store shopping experience is preferable to online shopping. And one thing that gets me into a store is the excitement that comes with seeing one-of-a-kind, quality products.

Before the ECQ, I visited Curate, a lifestyle retail shop located at The Rise, Makati. The name itself – Curate – effortlessly describes the well curated items you will find in the shop. From clothing, beauty and skincare to local and international brands and luxury bags, the store is definitely a home of unique finds. And especially at a time like this, I can really appreciate a store that has a variety of items that match my interests all in one place.

Featuring collections from Dermalactives and Rajeunir (both brands are only available in Curate), Happy Andrada, Weaves PH, Nouran Jewelry and Arts2arte (my favorite local perfume brand) to name a few. The place itself is open and welcoming. It has an elegant, modern and fresh vibe, I really enjoyed shopping here instead of buying online and here are some of the reasons why..

They showcase a variety of handcrafted jewelries and handwoven products from local artists that are to die for. Here are some of my favorites from the store.

Curate supports the zero waste lifestyle. Inside the store you will find a zero waste area with a refilling station of organic products called The Mayad Market.
Sourcing items from an array of different independent brands means that each piece has it’s own story; the store is a treasure trove of gems.
And of course, Curate also houses international brands and luxury items that cater to every taste and desire of the modern chic woman. Feeling a little peckish? They got you covered as well. I found all my favorite hard to find snacks here!

Places like this bring the magic of shopping back. I can’t wait to visit again!

Establishments that are under the Shang Properties have always had a distinct luxuriousness to them. Added to the list is the two-story Assembly Grounds that is directly connected to The Rise in Makati City.

It is currently on soft opening, but it’s not too far away from October 28, 2019, when all the shops officially open for complete public leisure!

As introduced byLala Fojas, the Executive Vice President and General Manager of Shangri-La Plaza Corporation, Assembly Grounds is built with the young professionals in mind—the grid that greatly comprises the crowd in North Makati—hence the over-all younger and hipper vibe the mall gives off.

Unlike most malls that beam with unending throng of people because of their vast space and multiple levels, Assembly Grounds offers some sort of intimacy by virtue of its two-story built.

Although it does not stand as stall as the others, it is complete with shops and amenities that will cater to the needs of the crowd it aims to serve.
